Medicus International is a truly global agency and partners with pharmaceutical clients based in the US, EU and Asia Pacific. In addition, as a trading division of the PHCG network of agencies, we can draw on the expertise and assistance of local offices to support in the execution of national medical education programmes in line with local regulations. PHCG boasts established offices in the USA, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, France, Italy, Germany, Australia and China.

Medicus International is organized into four Client Service Teams, each supporting defined, dedicated accounts. Leading each team is a Client Service Team Director, and contained within each are programme directors and managers (Account Directors, Account Managers and Account Executives), and on-staff, PhD/MD-qualified medical writers. Each Client Service Team has a senior writing lead and each account is assigned at least two writers, regardless of size.

All teams and accounts are supported by the Scientific Services department. This comprises both Scientific Directors and Associate Scientific Directors who provide strategic and scientific input into all written deliverables, and Editorial Directors and Managers who provide quality control and publication services as necessary. The Scientific Services department also ensures that the agency is kept up-to-date on all issues relating to compliance and copyright. Furthermore, Medicus International has a Medical Information Research Department, which identifies publications for competitor analyses, identifies potential authors (in line with ICMJE guidelines) and key opinion leaders, and keeps the agency abreast of industry news and trends.

All teams and accounts are also supported by a full-service in-house studio, meeting management and financial services.

Training is included in our comprehensive inductions for all new hires − our induction process ensures that all staff are immediately trained on compliance guidelines as soon as they enter the agency. In addition, ongoing training throughout the year maintains staff education and ensures that we can address the latest developments as they arise.

Our quality procedure is entitled ‘Excellence in Client Service’ and covers processes for project management, business communications and deliverable quality control. All content goes through a number of critical stages, including scientific review and data checking, strategy review and editorial quality control.
